Boarding Boarding is available in both the new and original barn. The original barn offers a tack up stall, heated tack room and 11 box stalls, ranging from pony to horse sizes. The new barn offers a tack up stall, wash stall, washer, dryer, heated tack room, washroom and 10 box stalls. There are eight paddocks, many of which have heated water bowls and shelters. The numerous paddocks allow for horses and ponies to have regular turnout. Riders have access to the indoor arena, all weather sand ring, grass ring and surrounding hacking. Full courses are regularly set up for lessons and schooling. |

Lessons Lessons are taught by Judy Henderson, an Equine Canada Certified Level II Coach and Kendall Durst, an Equine Canada certified instructor. Lessons are available for beginner to experienced riders and competitors. Both children and adults are welcomed for lessons. Judy has school ponies and horses available for lessons. Riding lessons are a great form of exercise for individuals of all ages. The lessons at Henderson Farm are focused on the proper basics for the hunter and jumper disciplines. Showing Henderson Farm competes on the national (A Circuit) and provincial (Trillium Circuit) horse show circuits in Ontario. Riders routinely qualify for the national championships, the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair and the provincial championships, the Trillium Championships. Riders also attend horse shows south of the boarder, such as Kentucky and Florida. Henderson Farm generally has a range of riders showing each year, from those in their first season to those with numerous years experience at the Royal. The group is supportive and enjoys everyone's successes throughout the season. Judy's many years of experience can help you achieve your competition goals. |
